The asparagus is an herbaceous plant that adapts to different climates, such as desert, Mediterranean or cold temperate.
Mexico is the world leader in asparagus exports, its sales reach the three main importing countries in the world: the United States, Germany and Canada.
Mexican agriculture is the third with the largest area dedicated to asparagus cultivation and the Mexican climate is highly conducive to the production and development of asparagus. In Mexico only green type asparagus is produced.
