During the 2023–2024 season, Chile exported more than 64 million boxes of fresh grapes, equivalent to 528,795 metric tons.
Frutas de Chile reported that the leading new Chilean grape varieties are Sweet Globe with a 12% share, Allison with 11%, and Sweet Celebration with 10%. The varieties that experienced exponential growth in the most recent season were Sweet Globe, Autumn Crisp, and Sweet Flavor.
Chile was the leading exporter of fresh grapes in the Southern Hemisphere during the 2023–2024 season, accounting for 24% of total shipments from this region of the world.
